It is a live aquatic plant, ready to be planted directly in a suitable water container, tub, pond, or water garden.
Yes. A cement tub, ceramic pot, old bathtub, half-drum or even a 15-litre bucket works. It needs only 15–30 cm of standing water above the soil. Most of our customers grow it on terraces and balconies.
This is one of the few aquatics that actually enjoys our summer. It grows fastest and flowers most freely between 25–38°C. Just don't let the water level drop — top up every 2–3 days in peak May–June.
Minimum 4 hours of direct sun; 6+ hours gives daily blooms. In shade it will survive and stay green, but flowering will be poor. Morning sun is ideal — it protects the leaves from harsh afternoon glare.
As a healthy rooted cutting with runners, packed damp and bare-root in moisture-locked wrap. Some older leaves may yellow or drop in transit — this is normal for aquatics. Plant it the same day it arrives and new leaves appear within 7–10 days.
