Chincherinchee Bulbs

Yes — Chinchi Rinchi is one of the easier winter bulbs for Indian conditions. It thrives in the mild winters of most of the country, from Delhi to Pune to Kolkata. It asks only for full sun (4–6 hours minimum) and soil that drains freely. In very cold hill regions, grow it in pots you can shift to a sunny, sheltered corner.

Choose a pot with a proper drainage hole — this bulb will forgive many things, but never waterlogged soil. Plant each bulb about 3 inches deep, pointed end facing up, spaced 4–5 inches apart. An 8-inch pot comfortably holds 3–4 bulbs. Use a light, well-draining mix: garden soil loosened with sand or cocopeat, enriched with well-decomposed compost.

Every bulb passes our 3-step quality check before it is hand-packed in Bengal, so what reaches you is firm, healthy, and true to variety. If anything arrives damaged or incorrect, our 15-day no-questions replacement and refund policy has you covered — a message on WhatsApp is all it takes.

Comfortably. A sunny balcony with 4–6 hours of direct light is ideal — an east or south-facing railing works beautifully. It is compact, wind-tolerant, and happiest in containers, which makes it one of the better winter bulbs for apartment gardeners.

Because the bulb is the honest way to grow this flower. It travels safely, establishes in your own soil and climate rather than a nursery's, and lets you witness the whole quiet arc — leaf, spire, star — from the very first week. Collectors will tell you: the waiting is half the pleasure.
