Gladiolus Bulbs (Mix Colour)

The bulbs have a successful germination rate of over 90%.

The ideal sowing season for Gladiolus bulbs in India is from September to November for most plain regions, which allows for blooming in winter. In hilly or cooler regions, planting can be done in early spring (March to June) for summer blooms.

Use a deep pot with drainage holes. Mix 2 parts good-quality potting soil + 1 part coarse sand or perlite for fast drainage. Gladiolus dislike waterlogged roots. and plant the bulbs pointed-end up, burying them about 4 inches deep and 3-4 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and place the pot in a sunny location.

Plant the bulbs 4 to 6 inches deep, with the claw-like side facing down. Ensure the soil is rich in organic matter and well-draining.
Choose a location that receives at least 5-6 hours (more sun = better blooms) of direct sunlight daily. Water the bulbs thoroughly after planting.

When the plants are in full bloom, showing colour the petals feel soft and silky. In full bloom, the flowers open completely, showing their bright colours and soft, velvety texture.
